WeTransfer Free stops at 3 GB a month

Use up the allowance and WeTransfer points you to its paid plans: "If you reach the limit and need to send more transfers, the Ultimate plan might meet your needs."

The 30 days roll, so nothing resets on the 1st. Each transfer counts against you for 30 days from the day you sent it.

WeTransfer's answer is a paid plan. Starter allows 300 GB across 10 transfers in 30 days. Ultimate drops the transfer count; WeTransfer's help center puts it at up to 1 TB per transfer, while its pricing page says there's no size limit.

See the full WeTransfer comparison for what it does better.

download.fyi's free transfers have no size cap and no monthly count. The difference is how: the file streams from your browser while your tab is open, instead of sitting on a server for three days.

For WeTransfer-style "send it and close the laptop", a pass keeps the file online for 14 days (up to 100 GB, $5) or 30 days (up to 500 GB, $9), paid once.
