How to send RAW photos
A RAW file from a current camera or iPhone is roughly 20 to 75 MB, so a single shoot runs to tens of gigabytes. Send them as files, all in one link, so nothing gets converted to JPEG on the way.

How to send it
Pick the RAW files
Select the CR3, NEF, ARW or DNG files themselves, not exports. If you've edited in Lightroom with sidecar files on, include the .xmp files so the edits travel too.
Drop them all at once
Drop the whole selection on download.fyi. One link carries every file. For a folder structure, zip it first.
Send the link
They open it and the files land as they left your card: full size, untouched metadata, still RAW.
How long it takes
Your upload speed sets the pace. These are best-case times at full speed; real transfers run a little slower.

Tips
RAW files are already compressed or close to it. Zip them to keep them together, not to make them smaller.
Client only needs proofs? Send JPEGs for choosing and the RAWs once they've picked.
Their computer may not open every RAW format. If they just need to look, a JPEG alongside helps. iPhone HEIC photos can go through the HEIC to JPG converter.
A shoot over 100 GB fits the 30-day pass (up to 500 GB) if they can't download it while you're online.
Questions
How big is a RAW file?
Depends on the camera. A Canon EOS R5 RAW is about 45 MB, a Nikon Z8 lossless NEF about 52 MB, and an iPhone ProRAW about 25 MB at 12 MP or 75 MB at 48 MP.
Will download.fyi convert my RAWs?
No. Files arrive exactly as you sent them: same format, same size, same EXIF.
How do I send a whole shoot?
Select every file and drop them together: one link for all of them. 500 Canon R5 RAWs is about 23 GB, roughly 2 hours 31 minutes at 20 Mbps upload or 30 minutes at 100 Mbps.
Can I send RAW photos from an iPhone?
Yes. Open download.fyi on the iPhone, choose the ProRAW photos and send the link. They're 10 to 12 times the size of a normal photo, so expect a few gigabytes for a few dozen.
